WordPress 3 has definitely made some well-deserved changes. Among these; the custom menu option, the mass update function, and the merging of WordPress and MU. In addition to the hundreds of bug fixes and security updates. It has become more than blogging software and is now capable of competing with CMS software on a large scale. There is no limit to WordPress’ functionality.
Custom post types now allow even further categorization of your blog or website. They’ve also updated the default theme which now allows for a more unique blog using only the default (Twenty Ten). Also, you should note that all of Viper Amped’s WordPress themes work with WP3 but not all the features (like custom menus) may be available.
*Will Update If New Information Comes Up*
Hulu is a unique web service in that it offers free legal viewing of popular tv shows over the Internet. In all my experience I still haven’t found it’s equal. They also now offer Hulu Desktop, a program to comfortably stream shows from your computer desktop. My joy came when I learned there was a deb package. Hulu is thinking ahead of other companies and offering a Linux version of their program up front. I truly hope their service thrives and continues to lead the way in streaming technology. Long live Hulu!

Fedora 13 just popped out of nowhere. I can’t say I particularly enjoyed this release but it seemed nicer and faster than the last one. It’s not that Fedora isn’t able to handle stuff, it’s that they aren’t adding anything new to the project. The most I noticed was an icon and wallpaper change. Not even a GTK makeover? I suppose the system is trying to be too much like it’s big brother, Red Hat. Personally if Fedora stepped up the design, I would have no problem fully deploying it on my desktop. So my question is, is the Fedora Project even trying anymore? Why should I use Fedora over any other system? Are they somehow more special than others?

*Update*
As a comment from one of my readers pointed out, there are numerous improvements to the system. Although it may have not gotten the same makeover as Ubuntu, there were certainly some upgrades. I did forget to point out the enhancement in the installation as well as the professional feel to the system. I did not feel like I was using a second-rate operating system, but instead one with advanced capabilities. Thank you Rahul for your comment! You’ve shed some light on the project.
It’s almost been two weeks since we last published out Limon WordPress theme. And now we are happy to announce another, Minteh. Crisp and cool like mint, this laid back theme will have you relaxed and ready to publish your ideas to the world. Powerful enough to take on widgets but light enough to load very fast. Again, we only ask that you leave the link to us in the footer intact.
As with all our upcoming themes, if you have us design a blog for you, you get ALL the themes pre-installed (upon request). Otherwise we are planning a proper way to allow releasing the themes to the public, or a payment method. We support our themes and we hope you will too!
