Ultimate Edition 2.4 (Ubuntu-based distribution) was recently released and I downloaded it as fast as possible. Though it IS slower than Ubuntu, it makes up for it by sheer beauty. It should be called “Ubuntu on Steriods”. At one time Ultimate Edition (UE) was my primary operating system, and I would still use it if it was faster with it’s installation and such. I would recommend this distro for gamers or someone with a lot of cpu/ram power to run it. It can be run from the same specs as Ubuntu (512mb or more ram). Also, I released a wallpaper for Ultimate Edition, although it doesn’t exactly match any default system themes.
