On March 3rd the sixth release of GnackTrack was opened to the public. (I realize the post is a bit late but I was revamping this site.) One of the most prominent features of this release is the addition of a single button that themes the entire system to look like Windows XP. It overall is a very good and graphically pleasing penetration testing Linux distro. I hope that future releases encourage software designers to take a good look at the security of their products and that they benefit from systems like this; to test and re-test their software before rushing it to the market. I’m sure Microsoft Windows could take quite a few pointers before coming up with Windows 8.
